Strawberry Harvest
Autumn dressed up as a Red Ripe Strawberry for Halloween. She didn't do a whole lot of trick 'r' treating, but she sure enjoyed all those kids coming to the door asking for candy! She also snuck into the candy bowl and managed to have her first sucker. After that, we gave away the lollipops as fast as we could! It was a fun Halloween for us all.

Dolman's Halloween

Glenn, Julie & Derek have a little different twist on the Wizard of Oz than we did. Derek was the lion, Glenn the scarecrow, & Julie was Dorothy. Well, over in Orem, Josie was Dorothy, Barb was the wicked witch, & Ben was the scarecrow. What does that say about Barb? I searched forever to find red ruby slippers for Josie & finally found them at Walmart! We had a great Halloween & we got to keep Josie's candy! She even kept her Dorothy wig on the whole time!

Love,
Dorothy, Witch, & Scarecrow

P.S. What were the other glenwood peeps for Halloween?
P.P.S. Don't you think the Lion & Little Dorothy should hook up? (see little lion Derek Roper below~ He is so cute!)

Halloween Pictures from Ropers
Hello Everyone,
I realize that is is almost Thanksgiving, but I wanted to send you a picture of Derek in his Halloween costume anyway. I am also including a birthday portrait so you can see what he looks like when he isn't in costume. My friend made Derek's costume, and we created a couple of hours of family fun in making ours. Derek wasn't sure about wearing the mane at first, but as soon as nice people started loading his bucket with candy, he started getting pretty enthusiastic about the whole trick-or-treat idea. Fortunately for us, Derek is still a bit young for candy, so Glenn and I divided up the loot after he went to bed. It was a really fun Halloween!
We're still doing well and enjoying life in Denver. The weather here has turned cold lately, which is sad for me, but gives me something to look forward to.....springtime! Glenn is loving his job. I am loving staying at home. Things are wonderful! I hope you all are doing well!
Love,
Julie
